Detect

Lively Mobile2 can detect falls so help can be called. And since it's water resistant, you can wear it in the shower, where most falls occur.

Connect

Your agent will be connected through the Lively Mobile2 device.

Help

Your agent will get you the help you need and can stay on the line until your situation is resolved. And with the Lively Link app, loved ones will receive an alert.

Common Questions

What happens when my device detects a fall?

If your Lively Mobile device detects a fall, a voice prompt will play, saying “Fall detected. Calling Urgent Response. Press button to cancel.” Immediately after this prompt, you will have a few seconds to press the button to cancel the call. If you don't press the button to cancel the call, Urgent Response will automatically be called to assist.

Note: The device may not detect all falls. If you fall and you don't hear the voice prompt that a fall has been detected, press your call button with a single, short press and then wait to hear the message, "Calling Urgent Response." Multiple button presses may disconnect the call to Urgent Response.

Do I need to use the supplied lanyard for Fall Detection to work?

Yes. You must wear the Lively Mobile2 with the lanyard around your neck in order for Fall Detection to work properly. You can wear the lanyard outside or inside of clothing. Wearing or carrying your Lively Mobile2 in any other way (such as in your purse or on a belt clip) will cause real falls to go undetected.

Note: Fall Detection may not always accurately determine a fall, so you should always try push your button when you need help. To call for help, press the button with a single, short button press. After you press the button, wait to hear the message “Calling urgent response. Press the button to Cancel”. Multiple button presses may disconnect the call to Urgent Response.

Can the Lively Mobile2 automatically detect a fall if I can't press the button?

Yes. The Lively Mobile2 includes a built-in accelerometer to detect falls. The accelerometer senses your body movement and patented algorithms evaluate any sudden changes. It can even tell the difference between dropping the device and an actual fall.

If you have subscribed to Fall Detection, when a fall is detected, the Lively Mobile2 will automatically call our Urgent Response Agents even if you are unable to press the button. You also always have the option to cancel the call if it was in error or you don’t need assistance.

Fall Detection is available as an add-on feature for $9.99/month.

Note: Fall Detection does not detect 100% of falls. Users should always push their button when they need help, if possible. Button signal range may vary due to device sensitivity, battery strength, and other environmental factors.

Will a fall be detected if I accidentally drop my medical alert?

The Lively Mobile2 technology can tell the difference between dropping the device and an actual fall.

If you drop the device to test Fall Detection you will hear this message: “Fall Detection has detected that you may have dropped your device. Fall detection is working normally. If this is an emergency, press the button to call urgent response."
