What to expect

Gather everything you need to activate online.

How long will activation take?

After we've collected the information needed to activate your device — which just takes a few minutes — it typically takes 5-10 minutes before your device is ready to use.

What information will I need to provide?

Have the following items and information:

  • Your device and its packaging (if applicable). We'll ask you to input numbers you can find either on the device or its packaging.
  • An email address to use as a billing contact
  • A payment method to keep on file

What steps will I take during activation?

During activation, you’ll be asked to:

  • Confirm the device you're activating
  • Choose a monthly service plan
  • Choose a monthly data or talk and text plan (phones only)
  • Choose Fall Detection (medical alerts only)
  • Set up a profile
  • Set up payment
How much does it cost to activate?

The activation fee is typically $35. You won't pay it until your first month's bill.

Depending on where and when you bought your device or service, you may qualify for a discount.
